Stones don’t dream, they do not aspire destiny as they do not have mind, they are not social by design. But we know that they can communicate with somebody like Michael Angelo –telling him about the beauty they possess within.
This statement relates to minds which seek security in stagnation and repetition, it is also a security of living a life with lesser struggle for fear of failures in the newer ways. Complacency with absence of action , again for fear of failure and indifference to the demands of the changing world keeps us stagnated. Minds free from fear of failure alone can keep on searching newer destinies, creating newer and bigger dreams. We need to learn liberating ourselves to wish good things, better things, big things and then work for them and work hard with heart, head and hands.
We must wish and wish sincerely – that’s the first sign of life. Sincere wish then starts giving a person a mental roadmap to go ahead and live through the travails and find the realized wish. Then again the same process of wishing and seeking mental roadmaps and travails. Life should be lived like this. Remember few wise people, few leaders gave us what we have today, imagine what will we and following generations get if we add few more wise people thinking, wishing and realizing the wishes. Living in present may be good in a narrow context, but let nobody forget we have obligations to our future generations – individually and collectively – to give then a better life than what we lived.
The new study, however, suggests we are more different genetically from people living some 1000 years ago. The pool of human DNA is no more restricted to regions in the world due to transgressions happening in the world. Apart from natural selection held to be responsible for development of human species, genetic engineering is adding option of specific selection mode in the development. Unless we wish better for ourselves we will never leave anything better than what we inherited.
