The Powerless Human

These two contradictory statements are true.
Let us start with what a human child can do when it is 4 years to 5 years old.
Motor ability: mature motor control, skips, broad jumps, dresses himself, copies a square and a triangle.Language: talks clearly, uses adult speech sounds, has mastered basic grammar, relates a story, knows over 2,000 words in 5 the year.
Responsibility and guild. Feels pride in accomplishment. Feeds himself.
Prefers to play with other children, becomes competitive prefers sex-appropriate activities.
Even a matured and undomesticated dog can kill a grown up person.
Imaginary fears of dark, injury, etc. (3 to 5 years)

What is amazing in this? Only thing that a human lacks is the physical powers that some other smaller frame animals can have.

Now look at this - A Chicken just out of shell will peck; the duck, the crocodile and the turtle, under similar circumstance, will run for water; while the calf will butt with its hornless head, the serpent writhe and bite. Birds exhibit the same habits, sing the same song, and build the nests of the same material, from immemorial time. Quadrupeds display similar peculiarities, with varying sagacity. New born insects will perform the elaborate task with same cunningness known from generations with same efficiency and intellect, experience like by its predecessors. All as means to an end and varying degree of adaption t circumstances; which is absent in the case of human baby.

These are our powers vis a vis other animals.

It is amazing what happens, in years to follow, with all the stark power absurdities we have seen just now.
